WHO AM I AND WHAT IS INNER FRAME

I’m Nour Alabras, a Syrian-born visual artist and photographer, currently studying Gestalt Therapy and Art Therapy. My work focuses on using art and photography as powerful tools for healing, self-expression, and emotional exploration. My journey has been anything but ordinary—a path shaped by childhood trauma, the devastation of war, and the challenge of rebuilding a life in a new country. Amid these hardships, art became my refuge. It was my voice when I couldn’t speak, my companion during moments of solitude, and my way of navigating social anxiety. Through art and photography, I found a medium to express what words couldn’t, explore my identity, and heal.

As I worked through adaptation and self-discovery, I came to understand the profound power of creative expression. My studies in Gestalt Therapy and Art Therapy have deepened my belief in the transformative power of creativity. They’ve been my steady anchor, and now I hope to share that same sense of empowerment and connection with others.
